About the Club

Kinross Colts JFC was founded in 1986 and currently consists of a number of teams ranging from Under 6’s to Under 18’s. Overall there are over 200 boys and girls playing and/or training with the club.

As a club, we participate in the Fife Football Development Pathway with our 7-a-side teams playing in the Fife Soccer Seven’s Development Association (FSSDA) before progressing to the 11-a-side game as part of the Fife Football Development league (FFDL).

Registration

All new players will be invited to register online to our member portal, delivered in conjunction with My Club Hub  

As part of player registration requirements for the leagues the club participate in, the club will also require a copy of either a birth certificate or a passport as proof of date of birth.

Training Sessions & Matches

Training sessions are managed by each team individually and any information should be requested from the individual team coaches. Winter training is generally at the 3G AstroTurf at Loch Leven Campus, moving to the grass pitches at the Myre or Donaldson Park in the spring/summer periods.

Teams playing within Fife Soccer Sevens set-up play all their matches at Pitreavie playing fields in Dunfermline either on a Saturday or Sunday morning depending on age group. It is parent’s/guardians responsibility to ensure players have transport to the games. The FSSDA season runs from March to October.

Teams playing within FFDL or AFYFC play on a “home & away” basis with home matches at the Myre Pitches or Donaldson Park in Kinross and away games potentially anywhere in Fife. Matches will be on either a Saturday or Sunday morning depending on age group and the season runs from August to May and usually has a winter break in January. There may be a requirement for occasional mid-week games early or late in the season to address possible fixture congestion. It is parent’s/guardians responsibility to ensure players have transport to the games. 

Any specific information on match locations, timing and team selections will be communicated to players by the team coaches.
